Report a Profile or Content
Takedown notice protocol and policy violation reporting framework.
1. Overview & Policy Enforcement Commitment
AVAKRI maintains a zero-tolerance operational framework for profiles or content that violate our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), Terms of Service, or safety guidelines.
Because AVAKRI operates as a curated, high-touch matchmaking platform, where public profile browsing, direct cold-messaging, and file-sharing are disabled, user content is tightly controlled. However, AVAKRI maintains multi-channel reporting mechanisms allowing members, non-members, and regulatory bodies to submit takedown notices and flag policy violations at any time.
2. Reporting Methods & Accessibility
Anyone seeking to report a policy-violating profile, unauthorized content, or suspicious behavior can submit a report through three distinct, accessible channels.
Method 1: In-App & In-Session Reporting (Single-Tap Reporting)
- Location: Available directly on every member introduction card, candidate summary, and within the active match communication interface.
- Functionality: Tap the "Report Profile" or "Flag Issue" button, select the violation category (e.g., impersonation, harassment, inappropriate content, commercial solicitation, safety concern), and attach optional notes or screenshots.
Method 2: Dedicated Email Reporting Channel (24/7 Intake)
- Email address: [email protected]
- Scope: Open to members and third parties (e.g., individuals reporting unauthorized profiles, copyright holders, or non-consensual content). Emails automatically generate high-priority tickets within the AVAKRI Trust & Safety queue.
Method 3: Public Web Support & Takedown Form
- Location: This page, accessible from the public footer on every page of avakri.com.
- Form fields: Allows reporters to specify details of the reported profile or content, the nature of the violation, contact information for follow-up, and a confirmation of accuracy (for DMCA or impersonation takedown claims).
3. Investigation, Takedown & Response Times
Upon receipt of a report or takedown notice through any channel, AVAKRI executes the following standardized four-step protocol.
-
Report intake & quarantining. An automated ticket is created immediately and the content is frozen.
- High-risk reports (e.g., non-consensual intimate imagery, minor involvement/CSAM, credible threats, severe harassment) trigger an immediate administrative freeze, with a response time of under 2 hours. The reported profile or content is removed from candidate pools instantly while under review.
- Standard policy violations (e.g., minor profile misrepresentations or external link sharing) enter human moderation review within a 12-to-24-hour window.
- Human review & verification (2 to 24 hours). The AVAKRI Trust & Safety team reviews system audit logs, communication history, and submitted evidence. The assigned matchmaker is notified to cross-verify onboarding records and video intake footage.
-
Removal & account termination.
- Content purge: Confirmed violating text, media, or profile elements are permanently deleted from active and backup servers.
- Account termination: Severe or repeated AUP violations result in immediate permanent account termination without refund.
- Preventative blacklisting: Associated hardware device fingerprints, verified phone numbers, government ID hashes, and cardholder payment credentials processed through Stripe are permanently blacklisted to block re-registration.
- Reporter notification & legal escalation. The reporting party receives written email confirmation detailing the resolution of their takedown notice. If the violation involves illegal activity (e.g., human trafficking, CSAM, extortion), AVAKRI preserves complete audit logs and submits reports to relevant authorities (such as NCMEC or law enforcement) as legally mandated.
