Appeal Process
Appeals for account removal, bans, or content takedowns on AVAKRI.
AVAKRI provides a formal administrative appeal process for users whose content has been removed or whose account access has been suspended or terminated due to reported Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) violations.
1. Appeal Initiation & Submission Channels
Automated notification & appeal link
When a profile action, content takedown, or ban is enforced, the affected user receives an automated notification via their registered email address detailing:
- The general policy section violated (e.g., identity misrepresentation, inappropriate media, or external solicitation).
- The specific enforcement action taken (content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent ban).
- A direct, secure link to the AVAKRI Administrative Appeal Form on this page.
Direct email channel
Users may also initiate an appeal by emailing [email protected] from their verified account email address within 14 calendar days of the enforcement notice.
2. Review Personnel & Re-Evaluation Methodology
To ensure objective, unbiased review, appeals are handled through a separated internal hierarchy.
Independent reviewers
Appeals are not reviewed by the initial moderator or matchmaker who issued the suspension. All appeal submissions are handled by an independent Trust & Safety Appeals Lead in coordination with Executive Operations.
Review process
- Documentation intake: The Appeals Lead evaluates the appellant's submitted statement, supporting identity documents, or context evidence.
- Audit verification: Technical logs, onboarding video records, multi-factor authentication metadata, and the original report history are re-examined.
- Matchmaker consultation: The senior matchmaking supervisor conducts a secondary check to confirm whether identity or behavioral discrepancies can be resolved or were triggered by system false positives.
3. Expected Timeline & Resolution
AVAKRI adheres to a strict resolution timeline for administrative appeals:
- Initial acknowledgment: Within 24 hours of appeal receipt.
- Final determination: Within 3 to 5 business days from submission.
During the active appeal review window, the account remains in a secure, quarantined state (hidden from matching pools and communication interfaces).
4. Post-Determination Outcomes
Depending on the findings of the Trust & Safety Appeals Lead, one of two final determinations is executed.
Appeal approved (reinstatement)
- If the appeal demonstrates a false positive, mistaken identity flag, or resolved administrative requirement, the account or content is restored immediately.
- The user receives written email confirmation, and their assigned matchmaker resumes curated introductions.
Appeal denied (final enforcement)
- Written final decision: The user receives a formal written notice stating that the enforcement decision is final and unappealable.
- Permanent data purge & blacklisting: The account is permanently terminated. Hardware device fingerprints, phone numbers, government ID hashes, and cardholder payment credentials processed through Stripe remain permanently blacklisted across AVAKRI infrastructure to prevent re-registration.
- Zero refund enforcement: Pursuant to the AVAKRI Terms of Service, fees associated with accounts terminated for severe safety violations (e.g., harassment, impersonation, commercial solicitation, NCII, or trafficking) are strictly non-refundable.
